This podcast features a special interview with Prof. Dr. Ruth de Bock, Advocate General at the Supreme Court and part-time Professor of Civil Procedure at the UvA. In the interview she discusses the bill concerning modernization of the law of civil evidence.

Prof. de Bock was a member of the Expert Group on Modernization of Civil Evidence that issued an opinion on modernization of civil evidence law in 2017. Now, a bill on the same topic is in parliment (Tweede Kamer).  In this podcast, Prof. de Bock discusses: What will change as a result of the bill? What criticism has been levelled at the bill? And where is there still room for improvement?
